I stayed with my mother for 4 nights and we loved this hotel! The room was large and comfortable with high ceilings, including the bathroom. It was also super clean. There was a fridge and teapot/coffee pot in the room along with complimentary water, canned drinks/soda, hot cocoa, and snacks, which were replenished every day! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our rate included breakfast, which was always delicious! The location was very convenient - just a short walk to St. Andrews Square and we could walk almost everywhere. Tons of restaurants are just a short walk from the hotel and the tram stop is right in front of the hotel, which makes getting to the airport so convenient. We would absolutely come back here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Lovely location, close to a lovely restaurant we ate at, a small Tesco, a shopping centre behind the hotel, the train station and the Christmas market. Delicious hot breakfast options delivered to your table and great hot drink options to go with it. Lovely waterfall shower and TV at the end of the bed. Great size room compared to most, and we got to the hotel early and stored our luggage - this was brought up to our room for us when it was ready and we were out. We were also able to store our luggage after check out, ready to grab when we were on our way back to the train station later in the day.

The staff were so helpful with storing our luggage as we arrived hours before booking in time. We spent a few hours in Edinburgh and when we returned our luggage had been taken to our room. The room was very nice and had everything anyone would need. We did find that we tended to roll into the middle of the mattress but other than that we had no issues. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent and lots of choices, a good start to the day. Couple of minutes walk to playhouse theatre, St James quarter and Omni centre. Trams are just outside the hotel.

The staff were great. We visited to see Taylor Swift, and they had made a big effort with friendship bracelets and a bottle of Prosecco in the room on arrival. Given that they were so busy, we were also very pleased to be able to check in early. It was very clean and despite the bedrooms having earplugs, we couldn’t hear much street noise given it central location. Let the Scottish touch in the free minibar of iron bru, Scottish water and tunnocks wafer biscuits, much needed after a 10 hour concert experience

Shelley

Good central location. Breakfast selection was excellent with vegan options like porridge with plant-based milks. Kettle in room for tea and coffee making (with decent sized mugs) and a few freebies in the mini-fridge - bottled waters, IRN-bru and tunnocks caramel bars. All staff very friendly and helpful. Bar looked good but we didn’t drink there.
